Christmas morning started at 5am with a prayer and quick preparation of fresh cat fish stew for the inlaws, then straight to the inlaws for breakfast and christmas present sharing. left Lagos at 11am and travelled to Ijebu-Ode to see my parents and extended family. Had great fun and even ate the local cuisine too. Then it was back to Lagos to spend some time with friends who was hosting friends for xmas, lovely meal and great spending time with friends. Off to ‘posh’ aunty’s place for english style christmas dinner. Roast turkey, roast potatoes, cranberry sauce, sausage wrapped in bacon, brussel sprouts (the works)
Finally back home and time for opening xmas presents. Daughter was super excited with loads and loads of xmas pressie and mommy got just want she want.
overall, blessed day. so grateful to God for his grace and for his son that he gave to us.
My day started our lonely cause my kids and husband had gone over to another town to visit his parents. My bestie whose birthday happened to be the same day, came over and we cooked lunch, gave thanks to God for making us seeing another Christmas and also for adding another wonderful year to her life. We later went cake hunting. Took few pictures at the mall, them came home to retire for the day. Though my family wasn’t there, my Best Friend made it memorable.
Our day started with a family prayer. My first daughter did most of the cooking, and after that we all went out to watch a little christmas show which was held by our neighbours in the estate. We later watched TV, shared stories about our last christmas celebrations, and made plans for the next one. We later had visitors, who we welcomed gladly.
Spent Christmas with my MIL, and also spent some time with my parents too. The day was filled with lots of eating and gisting with siblings.
Well as for me, I spent my xmas joyfully by paying a visit to my child who lives with her mother. I took all my quality time to take him out for picnic. We ate, dance and had a lot of fun together. I gave him d quality gifts pack a real father should give out to his lovely child. The role of a single parent is never easy, but the joy of having a lovely child is what matters. Merry Xmas
Well as for me I travelled down to meet my only child who is living with her mum. Took my child out spending some time picniking. Just as the saying. The roles of a single parent are never easy, but am greatful that I gave my kid the best part of my time celebrating together

My christmas morning started with a surprise visit from my dad. The kids were so excited to see their grand dad which brought tears to my eyes. I prepared my local meal, Pounded yam and afamg soup which is my husbands favourite for lunch, while we played games, took pictures and bonded during the rest of the day
Spent christmas with my daughter, my sister and my nephew with two neices. I made a delicious meal of fried rice, smoked chicken and turkey salad, we sang danced and expressed our thanks to God for a beatiful year, despit the hurts and challenges in the year. It was trully magical!!
