Does The Meaning Of Love Change As We Grow Older?

love

At every age, love means a different thing to everyone.

Before 1, love probably meant getting fed, cleaned, cuddled and carried…
At 5, maybe getting hugged by a crush on the playground
At 15, it was most like feeling butterflies every time a love interest smiled back

And that’s the thing about love; it grows, it changes, it gets more meaningful and selfless, till you’re consumed by it and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

We shared videos of children explaining love here. You should check it out! But here, we also found random sayings on what love meant to 13 children across different ages and it is beautiful! See excerpts below and then watch the awesome video after 🙂

0 – 100|What is Love?

Ultimately; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
