Introducing the Antelope Shoe…the Antelope shoe, its makers claim, you can combine both – and drop a dress size in less than four weeks. The shoes work by unbalancing the wearer, forcing the muscles in the legs, hips, buttocks and abdomen to work harder just to keep you upright – burning more calories.
They feature a concave sole and a spring mechanism in the heel that slightly destabilizes the wearer’s centre of balance. That makes the foot rock back and forth as the weight of the body shifts, recreating the feeling of walking on an unstable surface such as sand. Early trials suggest the Antelope could help women shed as much as half a stone, or one dress size, if worn for a month.
The Antelopes will become the first high heel version when they hit the High Street next year. A spokesman for creator StyleMeTV said the heels will allow women to lose weight everywhere ‘from the office to the red carpet’.
Ladies will you be getting a pair of these?
