WoW(Women Working) With Children Program:

family friendly things to do this weekend June 8th

Date: 8th June  |  Location: BUSINESS CLUB IKEJA
50, Hakeem Balogun Road, Beside NECA House, Adjacent New African Shrine, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos.

When the WOW with Children Program was designed, it was for a closed and small group of 40 and we secured a hall for 50. As at this morning we have 130 registrations. We saw it coming and that was why we delayed announcing the venue of the program to those who registered.

Yesterday, we had to finally accept the reality on ground and settled for a hall of 200 @ BUSINESS CLUB IKEJA, 50, Hakeem Balogun Road, Beside NECA House, Adjacent New African Shrine, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos.

It was not within out budget but it was within our goodwill and we are grateful to God for His support and Mrs. OLUTITI for championing this relief. The theme is :The NECESSARY Transition: From DUTY BEARERS to STANDARDS BEARERS…The date is tomorrow, Saturday 08/06/2019.

To leave one seat vacant of the available 200 seats tomorrow at will be an abomination to the intent and the investment made so far into the program. So since it has grown big, we want to ACCOMMODATE YOU in particular.

Please register here or follow the information on the handbill. It is not too late to spread the word within your areas of influence. See you in class and do have an INSPIRED weekend.

Raising Children Gender Equitably

Are you present with your children

Date: Sun Jun 09 2019. |  Time: 13:30 – 15:30|  Location: Plot 1637 Adetokunbo Ademola, VI, Opposite Eko Hotel. |  Source: Nothingtodoinlagoscom

As the world moves as it should to a more gender equitable society, it is important that the basic unit of the community imbibes in its culture the art of raising children within a gender equitable environment. It is more difficult here in Nigeria because of the power of outdated gender roles and gender identities within our community.

What we seek to do with this discussion group is to bring interested families and people together so we can share grievances, express confusion without judgement and assist each other with the guide of a psychologist who works with children, Dr Gbonjubola Abiri on the best ways to raise children in a healthy gender balanced home and create such a supportive community.

This gathering is open to people with a child or children, people expecting a child, people interested in having a child or children and those who are just plain interested. There is a creche service available with The baby lounge Come and invite eight friends
