Dark and Lovely Beautiful Beginnings to celebrate Nigerian children with Hair Maintenance Week

In its determination to create awareness and sensitise Nigerian children on the need for personal hair hygiene, L’Oreal Central West-Africa, makers of Dark and Lovely Beautiful Beginnings products is set to celebrate them with a line-up of activities scheduled to hold from the 19th – 24th May, 2014.

The essence of the program, according to the company, is to ensure that kids are sensitised on the significance of hair care, hair grooming and hair cleanliness. The event kicks off with hair maintenance week where kids will be educated in their various schools on the importance of maintaining and keeping a healthy hair.

The grand finale will feature a competition where two representatives of the various schools with their mothers will compete at the ‘Mum & I Beauty Pageant’. They will be judged based on knowledge of hair care with support from their mothers which is expected to bring to life the beauty of mother-daughter relationship.

The grand finale will hold on Saturday 24th of May 2014 by 12pm at Caley College 6, Church Street Agidingbi Ikeja.
