Why did you write Be Fearless?
I wrote this book so that readers will learn how to walk through the crisis of career, especially in male-dominated fields, without giving up. I want my female readers to learn how to dream without entertaining the limitations thrust upon her by society.
Finally, I hope that readers will draw inspiration and encouragement for their journey by reading this book.
Who is the book “Be Fearless”for?
The Primary Audience for Be fearless are Women who are often unaware of the barriers they have created to hinder their success. This book is also for secondary school students, school leavers, and University students; in order to motivate and encourage girls who want to develop a career, especially in STEM industries.
The Secondary Audience is Parents, grandparents, and other family members. By reading the book they will be exposed to the challenges of their female children and how best they can support them.
Finally, colleagues who desire to see women express their potential in the workplace; academics, policymakers and book lovers who value fact-based books that are well written will enjoy this book.
What are your hopes in terms of how people should change or think after reading it?
One of the key goals of the book “Be Fearless” is to share insights from women who have sought to develop their careers while married and to empower women. In addition, we want to commence a discussion with men, organisations, and institutions on how best to support women on their career journey. And finally, this should lead to discussions around the stumbling blocks to gender parity in society. I hope that women find tools in this book to encourage them and guide them on their career journey.
