So as you get lost brunching in the cool ambiance, the children get to go unleash their pent up energy in the kiddies playground.
Here, there will be no need to chase them about the restaurant, nope! They are allowed to burn that energy with lots of toys, bouncy castle and #drum roll# Nintendo Wii!!! So this sunday, take your fine self and the kids to Four Points by Sheraton located in Lekki just minutes from the Mobil and Chevron offices.
At Number 4, we have…

When last did you take a dip in the pool? This is one fun activity you can do as a family and the kids love it #Singing in Fela’s voice… Waterrrrr, e no get enemy# Federal Palace Pool Club is the place to be when we want to get thoroughly wet with the kids.
Here we enjoy tantalizing cocktails by the luxurious Olympic size pool, play a round of miniature golf, or try our hands at tennis in one of the 2 tennis courts all overlooking the serene lagoon and the real catch is the children’s section. At this exclusive pool club they have a Children’s play park, jungle gyms and swings and games room will keep the kids entertained for hours, so you can sit back and enjoy the sun and splendor that is plentiful in Lagos; but first you have to become a member. Oh, not to forget the waterslides, trampoline and ocean view *sigh*
At Number 3, we have…

Remember when you said you take that dance class and then marriage came carrying babies along. You can take that class with your kids now. They have centres in VI, Ikoyi and Lekki where you get to enjoy what they offer. You can also take classes in Theatre and Voice Training. SO GET YOUR DANCING SHOES ON.
At Number 2, we have…
- Loving Nature
Lagosmums take their kids to places like Lekki Conservation Centre to enjoy a refreshing time with nature. We like to teach our kids how to appreciate greenry and other forms of life. The centre is run by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation and has a huge tract of wetlands set aside for wildlife viewing. Raised walkways enable you to see monkeys, crocodiles and various birds; early morning is the best time to visit. The centre also has a library.
If you are a mainlander, not to worry, there’s Shodex Garden beside Lagos State Fire Service by Anthony bus stop, 251/253, Ikorodu Road, Lagos. The setting there is absolutely refreshing and cool. You can take the kids here to see animals like the Ostrich, Tortoise, Monkeys and lots of plants and flowers. Take time out to see nature at its best, take along a book or two to read out loud.
At the Number 1 spot, we have
- GET Arena
Yes, Lagosmums like to go out for all-out-fun and Get Arena is our top spot. Asides from all the other fun spots at the Arena which include a car racing centre, arcade games, climbing wall, karting… they also have the Goonies Kids Centre where its all about entertainment and education. With carefully selected arcade games, and obstacles encouraging hand eye coordination and team work, it’s a perfect haven to hone in the skills the kids are taught in school.
