Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), a Nigerian based non-profit organisation has announced its 11th annual conference tagged; Wellbeing Workplace and Wealth.
The event which will hold on the 9th of November, 2012 at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos will have key speakers such as Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, the president, Dangote Groups Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the Honorable Minister, Communication Technology Omobola Johnson, Chairman Etisalat Nigeria Hakeem Bello Osagie, Executive Chairman and Founder, Philips Consulting Folusho Philips and many others.
Wimbiz was formed in 2001 by 13 individuals and in 11 years it has grown to become an establishment with members in the top echelons of the corporate world, both business and politics. Wimbiz is aimed at increasing the success rate of female entrepreneurs and the proportion of women in senior positions in corporate organizations. Amongst its partners include TY Danjuma Foundation, First Bank PLC, Dangote Group and so on.
The chairperson for the 11th annual conference is the Managing Director, Bank of Industry Evelyn Oputu. early registration which starts from October 1st – November 5 is billed at N55,000 while the late registration which starts from November 6 – November 8, 2012 is billed at N60,000. There will be a gala dinner on the 9th of November by 7pm tagged Changing Phases (Mask Ball).
