Recipe – Red Cabbage & Pineapple Smoothie

Hey Mum! Here’s something awesome for you to make right away. This smoothie not only looks good, it tastes good too! And I love the purple color of red cabbage! A good choice when trying to get the kids to take vegetables. It is lot more exciting with the pineapple flavor. Get a glass and start the day right.

Ingredients

1 pc red cabbage

1 pc pineapple

2 pc banana

Method

Start by shredding the cabbage to fill 2 cups and set aside. Peel the pineapple and squeeze out the juice to fill two cups and set aside.

Combine the shredded cabbage, pineapple juice and banana and blend until smooth. Alternatively, this can be done at night and put in the fridge.

Serve in a glass.
