Child Abuse- It Shouldn’t Hurt To Be A Child

Let me ask you some questions. Do you know all there is to know about child abuse? Do you really know the how’s, what’s, why’s of child abuse? Do you know how to handle the emotions that come with child abuse? Do you know, as parents, how your actions could affect the mindset of your child?

child abuse

Everyday we open the newspaper or put on the TV , we hear about all forms of abuse against toddlers, and children – both the female and male child.   What can we do to protect these gifts of the future from God?

How do we, as parents, handle this situation? How do we, as family members and friends assist in this situation? How do we, as grandparents, assist in curbing this situation? How do we, as Teachers (both pre-school, primary, secondary, tertiary and caregivers) handle this? How do we, as social workers, teach and handle this scourge on our children?

Should it hurt to be a child? NO – it should not!

So, join us on Saturday, 11th June, 2016, at this power packed, knowledge based, hands-on seminar holding at the Guiding Light Assembly Hall in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, as we listen to experts in this field, find solutions and learn skills to protect your children and your own emotions from the onslaught of this hideous crime in our society.

It involves YOU – let us stop being reactionary and be proactive. It starts from the HOME! it starts from YOU!!! Do invite others and share on your various platforms. Come, if need be, dressed to go onto your other event. Announce it in church, mosques etc.,
