So I’ve been missing harmattan terribly and I’ll tell you why. Do you remember when you were a child, how harmattan and Christmas came together? It was so beautiful, how harmattan, alongside the smell of fried chicken and new clothes, gave Christmas its own scent. You literally could smell Christmas now…Oh well!
So, I went shopping with my kids for their Christmas clothingyesterday, and as soon as I stepped in, several priceless Christmas and harmattan memories, along with the scent of Christmas hit me. I had to ask the sales attendant what fragrance they used in their store.
Ruff ‘n’ Tumble signature scent: Tumble Lily
By the way, the store I went into is Ruff ‘n’ Tumble’s G.R.A, Ikeja store and it turned out, the scent that enveloped me is the Ruff ‘n’ Tumble signature scent, Tumble Lily. Isn’t that cool and thoughtful? Anyway, the fragrance reminded me so much of harmattan season, when my siblings and I would get the flu and my mum would make ginger and honey juice for us.
So naturally, I had to ask what the fragrance was made of and the store attendant was sweet enough to tell me; Tumble Lily is a loving blend of ginger and lilies and it truly brings you the scent of Christmas, and you can only imagine how much I love Christmas. Why? Christmas reminds me of what’s important;family, and our special moments together, and Ruff ‘n’ Tumble’s signature fragrance brings all of that with its soothing scent. My son said the scent reminded him of Ginger Bread Man!
