Woman Rising 2017

Ugoma Adegoke & Zebra Living Ltd presents the 7th edition of Woman Rising, an annual celebration of women through Music, Arts and Networking events. This April, they will continue their tradition and aim to gather 750 women across various venues and over 2 days to connect, empower and celebrate womanhood and the accomplishments of women in business, the humanities, philanthropy and the arts. The weekend will begin with a exclusive networking brunch and will be concluded with a critically acclaimed music concert featuring all female performers. The weekend will also be dotted with a private fringe art salon and a public film screening, all focused on womanhood and creativity.
The concert will feature Adunni Nefertiti (all-female acapella folk group), Kaline, newcomers Evelle, Debbie and Sheillah, international guest percussionist Angela Paz Alhucema from Chile, and popular comedienne ChiGurl. Performances at will have reading interludes led by special men in the creative community who will add poetic and lyrical energy to the night. The evening event will be hosted by Nollywood actress and Woman Rising host Lala Akindoju.

The first world-class Nigerian musical to make history in London is back in Lagos.
