The 2019 Thrive Women Solutions International Women’s Day Seminar which was organized to celebrate and inspire Nigerian women to commemorate #IWD, held on the 8th of March 2019 at The Civic Centre. Victoria Island Lagos.

This event has been highly extolled by participants as an exemplary way to celebrate women in the true spirit of International Women’s Day. The Thrive International Women’s Day (IWD) seminar welcomed female delegates from Lagos State to network, listen to and be inspired by fellow successful women on how to balance for better their career, businesses, dreams, physical and emotional health along the line of the theme for this year #Balanceforbetter.

Highlights

Highlights of the Thrive IWD seminar and celebrations included a welcome address by the convenerno matter how small and to raise the boy and girl child equally in fairness.

The invited speakers at the Thrive IWD Seminar were Mrs. Margaret Olele CEO of the American Business Council who spoke on “Advice to my younger self”, Ms. Cynthia Umoro founder and CEO of Harvesters Farms Limited popularly known as pretty Miss Farmer, spoke on "The Audacity in Following your Dreams, Thriving and Finding Balance” while Mrs. Sheri Adegbenro Chief Audit and Compliance Officer with Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP) spoke on Practical Steps to building a successful career ethically, and Dr. Mrs. Obielumani Ideh a consultant physician and wellness enthusiast spoke on practical ways to stay healthy and biological warning signs women should watch out for.

Other highlights of the seminar included cutting of The 2019 Thrive IWD cake, Lunch, Raffle draw, Networking and selfie break. This event was open to the public and attendance was free for all participants. Thrive Women Solutions

The Seminar ended with a Thank you speech from the convener Mrs. Rosemry Onyebigwa and the 2nd stanza of the national anthem. 2019’s Conference is scheduled to take place on the 14th of November.
