Congratulations to Kate Middleton and Prince William on the birth of their baby boy and third child; the newest addition to the family!
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz,” Kensington Palace announced on Twitter. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
Just seven hours after giving birth to her third child, Kate Middleton appeared on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday evening with Prince William by her side to introduce their new baby boy to the world.
The smiling couple couldn’t hide their excitement while presenting their baby boy to the enthusiastic crowd of well-wishers outside the hospital.
After waving at the cameras, they re-emerged with the baby Prince in a car seat being carried by his father and as he left, the duke told reporters he was “very happy, very delighted, thank you”. He added: “Thrice the worry now.” How cute!
