At LagosMums, we love giving back and making Mums happy by putting a smile on our LagosMums faces. March is widely celebrated as Women’s International Month as well as mother’s day. We decided to partner with WondrousHair, FotoLightHouse and Lillian ‘O Paul and choose one lucky mum from all our amazing and beautiful LagosMums to win a makeover and photo shoot giveaway. Who does not like to get pampered?
We all know that Mums are some of the busiest human beings! Always doing something, taking care of children, spouse, house, career, business, attending owanbe’s and generally always in the middle of a constant juggling and balancing act. When last did you have a chance just to be pampered for yourself for yourself? That’s what we set out to do!
We ran the contest and asked mums to tell us why they felt they needed a makeover and judges randomly selected a winner!
Our winner was Mrs Amaka Bello who won the LagosMums free makeover and photo shoot – which included a new hairstyle, makeup and a photo shoot with three outfit changes. She was so excited when she won! We could hear her excitement through Instagram and over the phone.
Part One
The makeover started with a visit to Wondrous Hair, Wondrous runs a hairsalon located in VI and whenever you leave her chair your hair looks amazing.

Second step was her makeover and photo shoot.
