Science is a system of acquiring knowledge; it also refers to the organized body of knowledge people have gained using that system. By choosing to study STEM children can choose between ‘traditional’ or previously established fields or the more recent and emerging ones. Traditional science fields include; Medicine, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Chemistry. Some science careers are gaining notoriety leading to the increased demand for people with necessary skills. Such areas are; Marine Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Science and Computer Science. It is important to note that whether in the traditional or emerging fields, science is very broad, therefore, these fields have several sub branches that will require specialization.

E- Engineering

STEM children Engineering is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. Engineering is a field we are all familiar with and it has some prestige attached to it. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering are all popular Engineering fields your child can venture into. As with Science and Technology, new frontiers are emerging in the Engineering space with Biomedical, Automation, Environmental and even Mechatronics Engineering.

M-Mathematics

Children who study STEM will definitely not be getting the short end of the stick now or in the future; as the job market will favour those whose skills and ability are relevant and up-to-date.
