The pandemic has put a damper on most of the year, but we can still make our Christmas just as jolly as the previous years.

Remember the reason for the season

We can get carried away with preparations for the holidays with gifts and decorations but we should always remember the reason for the season. The birth of Jesus Christ is the reason for this celebration we have today. As a family, we can sit together in our homes and tell or watch stories that tell us about Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem to birth the baby Jesus.

A good way to celebrate Christmas during the pandemic is to share the things we are thankful for as a family. Taking the time during Christmas for every member of the family to share what they are thankful for, will allow us to enjoy the festive season the more and look forward to the coming year with hope.
