The Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is an annual call to action to inspire students to learn computer science. As well as to advocate for equity in computer science education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.

CS First is an initiative of Google for Education which; offers a free computer science curriculum that makes coding easy to teach and fun to learn.

was built by educators who wanted a tool that allowed every teacher to teach computer science, even if they weren’t tech experts. As a result, they developed a curriculum that made it easy to teach the basics.

There are two beginner classes being offered during the Hour of Code by LagosMums.

1. Code Your Hero
