How to increase productivity at home

Hello mums, trust we are doing great today?

In my journey of working with stay at home mums, I realise that one of our major problem is actually proper time management.

We complain about chores, family and every other thing taking our time and for that reason, we don’t have time for ourselves.

Increase your productivity at home

I can remember when I was an unproductive housewife too; My excuse was always “no time” whenever anyone tried to suggest i do something from home no matter how small.

No time to read a book, learn a skill on YouTube, or make enquiries about something that will make me a better person. But I had all the time to watch Telemundo and ZeeWorld. Follow all the gossip blogs and chat away my life with my co jobless Stay-at-home mums.

When I borrowed sense, I realized that there are 2 major periods of our day we don’t utilize to the fullest.

1. When the kids are in school

Mums usually enjoy this period because it gives us time. Where we fail to maximize comes from the things we do at this time.

After the school runs, you do your chores and be done by 10 to 11am maximum. You can open your home office, drop Mummy duties at that time and work for yourself.

2. When the kids are sleeping :

Some of us use this time to catch up on chats and so many unproductive things online.

Try sleeping 2 hours late or wake up 2 hours earlier and do something to improve yourself before the kids are up.

At the end of the day, it is who we are becoming that really matters to the world.

Let’s consciously and intentionally learn to improve ourselves and get better daily.
