Upbeat Centre, West Africa’s first trampoline park and recreation Centre recently hosted kids and guests to a special week of events called the Upbeat Children’s Superhero week (27th May – 3rd June 2018). It was all about the kids as the theme and the vision of the event was to celebrate the heroes in our kids.
Events kicked off with a Superhero themed party on Children’s day May 27th and the kids were not left disappointed. There were added activities to make the day extra special for the Upbeat kids. The indoor trampoline park was specifically decorated to receive our little super heroes, families and guests. Visible enough was the designed maze for superhero games with prizes to be won. Other activities included; party games, video gaming, photo booth sessions, outdoor remote speed cars, dancing competitions, dance arcade, face painting, to mention a few. Food & snack vendors were also present to make sure tummies were fueled and satisfied. Also, outdoor football and basketball games for our heroes to take part in and show their skills. In all it was a super awesome party with a great turnout.
According to Upbeat Centre’s Creative Director, Mrs Moyo Ogunseinde; “our children are meant to be celebrated and what better way for Upbeat to celebrate our little heroes by giving them a wonderful and unforgettable time”.
The superhero games and mid-term activities carried on through the week for kids who visited the Centre. A most notable activity was the mid-term gymnastic camp. A 5-day intensive camp on trampoline gymnastics for newbies and regular members of the Upbeat Trampoline Gymnastics Club (UTGC). Kids who signed up got the chance to be introduced to the basics of trampoline gymnastics and fundamental routines to hone their skills. It was indeed a super week and we can’t wait for next year!
