We Celebrate Resurrection day

As we celebrate Resurrection day we are thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus paid for you and me! The ultimate sacrifice. The same resurrection Jesus experienced is the same resurrection power that you and I carry in us. At this time that we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, is a time to call forth and declare resurrection into every part of our lives that needs to be resurrected.

We call forth resurrection to dead dreams and hopes, we call forth resurrection to marriages, businesses. We call forth resurrection to our health, our families and every other area that needs it.

As Nigerians we are also experiencing a new beginning, we the people are experiencing resurrection, a new hope in Nigeria. We are on the cusp of the emergence of the great nation we know Nigeria is after the concluded presidential elections. When Timi Dakolo released the song “Great Nation” I am not sure he knew that he was prophesying…At the time the song was released the optimism and hope the song carried was almost out of place with how people felt about Nigeria then.  Fast forward to today and the song now applies to the Nigeria that we are in today – post presidential elections. The Nigeria today has gone through a momentous change and is poised to “shine like the sun”.

The lyrics of “Great Nation” sums up the sense of belonging, hope and resurrection that Nigerians feel for Nigeria today!
