Faith is a knowing that God is in control. It’s a knowing that God has you sorted because he said so and because you know that God will always take care of you. Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1)
You know the same way when a child needs something he will come to his parents and ask without a doubt in his mind that his needs will be taken care of. It might be to feed him when he is hungry or make him feel better when he scrapes his knee. We expect young children to have faith in their parents without any doubt in the ability of their parents to satisfy them.
It is the same thing with our father in heaven. Though we cannot see him we can feel him as his presence is everywhere. He is the creator of heaven and earth and everything in between. He created everything; the birds of the air, the food we eat, mankind and all the different races on the earth. God is everywhere and in everything.

In addition to giving us everything we need to live on earth, he has said that he has come to give us a future, a hope and an (his) expected end. There is nothing that is too hard for him. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
In reality, that childlike faith that we had is meant to stay with us. God is our father. He is the provider. The one who knows the end from the beginning. As a result, we should be rest assured that everything that he said about us will come to pass.
It is end of June, the first half of the year. Rather than focus on what has not happened, focus on what God has done for you. There is so much to be thankful for; that you have life – like the song says “count your blessings name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done…and it will surprise you what the Lord has done“. As you take the time to do this you will see that there is so much to praise God for.
It is very possible that there will be things that you are still expecting God to do. This is where faith comes in. Are there things that you are believing God for this year? Don’t get into a panic about the things that have not yet come into fruition; build on your faith and call out to God.
This is the time to ask God to give you the light that you need concerning areas where you need clarity and a way forward. There is something called “spiritual strategy” and this comes only from the wisdom that Gad can give. So ask God for eyes to see and ears to hear. This becomes easier when you are operating from a place of faith; a place of knowing that God wants the best for you in all situations. No matter the apparent delays, the twists and turns, God is always in control. He will cause everything to work together for your good.
You must be discerning and sensitive to hear God and take his lead. When it comes to God, who is all knowing, who knows where he is taking you, who wants to give you a future and hope; you have no reason to doubt even for a second that whatever God leads you towards is the best for you. So keep that faith going strong, hold on to that faith that is a knowing. Keep your eyes upwards and your faith unshaken to see the second half of the year unfold to what it is meant to be.
