At Gordonstoun International Summer School (GISS) there are range of exciting activities to look forward to! They are combined with the fun of meeting people from around 40 different nationalities and making new friends makes for an exciting summer. Some of the highlights include:
Sailing for 3 days and nights on a yacht off the coast of the west coast of Scotland.
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t sailed before, you will soon learn! With 3 or 4 of your recently made friends you will live aboard the yacht and enjoy barbecues on the beach, fishing off the back of the boat, dinghy races and even swimming in the sea (brrr!) With friends from the other yachts you can pile into one yacht and watch a film or play games or just simply relax with a cup of hot chocolate.
Climbing, abseiling, gorge walking, co-steering, mountain biking and tree climbing
These are just some of the exciting activities you can do in our adventure centre. Everyone spends 3 days experiencing the glorious west coast of Scotland whilst trying out something new and discovering how to master a new skill whilst having a lot of fun.  As Sofia from Italy said of our 2018 course “The best experience ever, I met amazing people, done fantastic and absurd activities that I never tried before.”
On our campus we provide a range of recreational activities which include cooking, laser clay pigeon shooting, laser tag, golf, beach activities, horse riding, archery, skating and much more.
