Our recipe of the week is watermelon punch with strawberries. Watermelon Punch is one of my all-time favorite fruit drink with its extremely high water content at 92% and its richness in beta-carotene, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B5 and smaller amounts of B1, B2, B3 and B6, what more could I possibly ask for?
This big fruit is a rich source of essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and smaller amounts of copper, iron and zinc.

- 1 pc watermelon
- 2 cups strawberries
- 5 pcs lemon
- 150 g sugar
- A mini seedless watermelon is best for this recipe.
- Cut the watermelon in half and scrape all the fruits from the center of the watermelon using a spoon and combine the watermelon fruit with strawberries, juice from the lemons, sugar and 1 cup of ice in a blender and process until smooth.
- Serve the drink in the empty halves of watermelon and garnish with skewed strawberry and lemon.
